The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League has named its 2025 Viking Cup roster, as the league returns to the international event for the first time since 2006.
Three local connections headline the group: Melville Millionaires defenceman Boston Harkness, Yorkton Terriers forward Jye Zawatsky, and Swan River product Bo Eisner, who’s having a strong season with the Melfort Mustangs.
They join a 20-and-under all-star lineup featuring top talent from across the SJHL, with Humboldt’s Charlie Tritt and La Ronge’s Graham Brown set to share the crease.
This year’s Viking Cup runs December 27 to January 4 in Camrose, with five teams competing. Team SJHL opens the tournament December 28 against Midland University.
