SASKATCHEWAN — “For the third straight week, the national average price of gasoline in Canada has fallen, putting it on the cusp of dipping below 125 cents per litre for the first time since April 2021,” said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy Monday.
Saskatchewan's average price is 120.33, down 1.8 c/L from last week's 122.18 c/L.
Average retail gasoline prices in Regina have fallen 2.0 c/L in the past week, averaging 124.49 c/L, and Saskatoon's average is 116.56 c/L, down 3.0 c/L from last week's 119.57 c/L.
“Prices are declining in nearly every province, with Alberta the lone exception seeing a modest uptick," says De Haan. "With refinery maintenance largely wrapped up and fuel production rising, gasoline supply is improving at the same time that easing oil prices are reducing cost pressures. As a result, Canadians could see gas prices continue to edge lower as we move toward the end of 2025.”
