STURGIS — The Good Spirit School Division (GSSD) Band held a Christmas concert at the Sturgis Composite School on Dec. 16. The Grade 7/8 band and senior band members played a variety of Christmas melodies filled with holiday cheer. The concert had concluded the season with the band playing at numerous schools throughout the division. Nathan Seghers was the band instructor.
The junior band kicked off the evening performances with playing Creepy Crawly Creatures, followed by Welcome Christmas and Mechanical Monsters: Mech the Halls.
The senior band members performed nine musical selections.
Christmas Can-Can, Swingle Bells, Metal Bell Carol, Stay, Simple Gifts, Frosty’s Caribbean Holiday, Walkin’ Down Christmas LanSleigh Ride, and Feliz Navidad.
