Saskatoon RCMP continue to investigate a two-vehicle crash early New Year’s Day, that left two people dead.
Mounties were called shortly before 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 1, to the scene of the collision, on Highway 219, south of Saskatoon.
Upon arrival, Mounties determined that a minivan had collided with an SUV, with the lone occupant of each vehicle pronounced dead at the scene by EMS personnel.
The victims have been identified as a 28-year-old Wadena man and a 58-year-old Saskatoon man.
A collision reconstructionist is assisting Saskatoon RCMP with the investigation.
