Yorkton Salvation Army
We made donations this year once again in Churchbridge, Yorkton, and brand new in Kamsack from the proceeds raised from the GX94 Christmas Goodies cookbook. These locations were all because of the sponsorship of the The Legacy Co-op . They have sponsored the GX94 Christmas Goodies cookbook for years now having us at their Food store and Liquor store in Yorkton, their food store in Churchbridge, and this year their food store in Kamsack to sell the cookbook. So let’s start off with the Yorkton donation. We made a $1,000.00 donation to the Yorkton Salvation Army as our final donation of the 2025 holiday season. Olivia Shearer met with Major Laurie Rielley to present the cheque. This marks our 11th year donating to the Salvation Army, and we hit the $12,000.00 donation milestone this year.

In Churchbridge we made a $1,000.00 donation to the Churchbridge Christmas Hampers.
This marks our 6th year selling the GX94 Christmas Goodies cookbook in Churchbridge.
We started way back in 2012 and 2013 at Sagebrush Studios. Since 2022 the Legacy Co-op food
store Churchbridge location has hosted us. And with their partnership we are now at $5,000.00
going to the community of Churchbridge during the holiday season. Pam Marfleet from the
Churchbridge Credit Union accepted this year’s donation on behalf of the Churchbridge
Christmas Hampers.
And last, but by no means least, we made a $1,000.00 donation to the Kamsack “Stuff the Cruiser” project. This was a very exciting year for the cookbook and myself. Being in two new locations, Melville and Kamsack, which meant we donated to two new communities that we have never been able to do before. It was a pleasure for me to meet Beth Dix, the Mayor of Kamsack, and hand her over the cheque for $1,000.00. The staff at the Legacy Co-op food store in Kamsack were so welcoming and we had a great crowd out buying their cookbook. I really hope to see everyone again next Christmas season.
