Guilty pleas have been entered by one of two people, arrested in connection with a police chase that stretched from Melville to Elfros.
On October 5, a vehicle stolen from Regina Beach, was spotted near Melville.
When Mounties tried to pull it over, the driver refused, and was finally stopped when the vehicle ran over a spike belt near Elfros.
In Yorkton Provincial Court on Jan. 13, 34-year-old Levi Bast-Kozar pleaded guilty to a total of nine counts, including dangerous driving, flight from police, assaulting a police officer and several theft charges.
The remaining charges against him were stayed by the Crown Prosecutor, and with credit for time already served, he received a total of 878 days in jail going forward, along with a three-year driving prohibition, a ten-year firearm ban, and he must provide a DNA sample.
