One of two people charged after a November 2023 traffic stop in Dauphin led to drug charges, has been committed to stand trial.
28-year-old Dillon Lebel was back in Dauphin Provincial Court Jan. 13 on numerous drug, weapon and stolen property charges, and his trial was set for August 14 in Dauphin.
On the afternoon of Nov. 17, 2023, Dauphin RCMP pulled a vehicle over on Ninth Avenue Southeast, arresting the driver and passenger, who they say had been involved in an earlier theft.
Officers searched the vehicle, and found weapons, ammunition, 90 grams of cocaine, a small quantity of methamphetamine, prescription drugs and cash.
