YORKTON – There’s been a new development in the case of a man arrested in connection with a drug and weapon bust in Yorkton.
Twenty-three-year-old Michael Spearing of Edmonton was in Yorkton Provincial Court Feb. 4, where the charges against him were stayed by the Crown Prosecutor.
In May of 2024, Mounties executed search warrants at three Yorkton homes, and made a traffic stop on 7th Avenue South. They seized about 42 grams of cocaine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, bear spray, and cash.
