FORT QU’APPELLE — A Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation man arrested in connection with a quadruple homicide on the reserve has made his first court appearance.
Sixty-seven-year-old Lauren Hotomani was in Fort Qu’Appelle provincial court Feb. 5, charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
His matter was adjourned to Feb. 17 in Indian Head.
Last February, the File Hills First Nations Police Service received a report of sudden deaths at a home on Carry the Kettle.
Police located two men and two women who had been shot to death.
