PUNNICHY — Another court appearance has been made by a man, arrested in connection with a break-in and arson on the George Gordon First Nation.
On the morning of Feb. 1, Punnichy RCMP received a report of a fire at a home on the reserve.
Later that day, Mounties received calls about a man walking with a firearm on the First Nation, and a suspect was subsequently arrested.
The investigation determined that a man had broken into the residence, stole a firearm, and started a fire.
36-year-old Myles Anderson of Regina, was in Punnichy Provincial Court Feb. 10, where he was remanded in custody for a bail hearing on Feb. 17.
