CANADA — A recall has been issued for two models of Outdoor Master-branded children’s and youth helmets for failure to protect the user in the event of a crash, posing a risk of injury or death due to head injury.
Model OM-TD BIKE with a manufacturing date of 05/2024 (Serial number OM20240520), which was sold in children’s size small, is dark blue in colour with dinosaur print and black padding, straps, buckle and plastic knob at the back of the helmet for adjustable fitting.
Model OM-KSKB (Serial number OM20240326) is deep green in colour with yellow straps and black padding, buckle and adjustable fitting knob at the back. It was sold in youth size small and has a manufacturing date of 11/2022.
The manufacturing dates are printed on a label inside the helmet, and the brand name is printed on the back of the helmet.

Outdoor Master reported that more than 600 of the affected helmets were sold in Canada between June 2024 to February 2025.
