The Saskatchewan Roughriders have added size and versatility to their offensive line.
The Green and White announced they’ve signed American offensive lineman Jaison Williams.
The 6-foot-4, 320-pound Williams signed with the New York Giants following the 2025 NFL Draft and attended training camp with the club.
The Ohio native spent six collegiate seasons (2019–24) at Youngstown State, where he became a mainstay up front. Williams made 52 career starts, including seven as a redshirt freshman in 2019.
In his senior season in 2024, Williams started all 12 games at right tackle and graded as the program’s top offensive lineman. He allowed just one sack while posting a 98 per cent pass protection efficiency rate.
As a junior, Williams played a key role in the Penguins’ ground game, helping running back Jaleel McLaughlin average 144.4 rushing yards per game. McLaughlin was later named the Missouri Valley Football Conference’s Offensive Player of the Year.
Williams brings versatility to Riderville, having started at every position along the offensive line except centre. He is a four-time All-Missouri Valley Football Conference selection and earned Third-Team All-American honours as a senior.
