YORKTON — The Yorkton Chamber of Commerce has announced that Baker Tilly SK LLP will once again serve as patron sponsor for the 2026 Celebrate Success Business Awards Dinner.
The annual event, set for Wednesday, April 15, will see the presentation of 15 business awards, including the Small Business of the Year and Large Business of the Year honours, which Baker Tilly will present as part of its sponsorship as well.
Juanita Polegi, executive director of the Yorkton Chamber of Commerce, said the firm’s continued support speaks to the importance of the event within the local business community.
“To have Baker Tilly, a successful local business that supports many activities and events in the community, as the patron sponsor of this dinner is an attestation of the value the company places on the awards and the event.”
Ryan Kitchen, partner at Baker Tilly SK LLP, said the firm is proud to once again be the major sponsor of the awards evening.
“It’s an important event to the business community as it recognizes the success of Yorkton businesses with many good news stories to tell.”
Kitchen also confirmed application forms for the various award categories are now available through the chamber’s website and office.
In 2024, eight new award categories were introduced, bringing the total number of business categories to 11, along with an award recognizing community organizations and events.
Polegi encouraged business owners and senior managers to consider applying.
“Consider the awards as an inexpensive, positive form of marketing with the potential for great returns,” she said. “It costs you nothing but some time to apply for an award. You know your business better than anyone, so tell your story.”
An independent judging panel will review completed application packages and select finalists and recipients in each category.
Application forms and rules for each category are available online or at the chamber office. The deadline to submit applications is noon on March 17.
