PUNNICHY — A man arrested in connection with a break-in and arson on George Gordon First Nation has made another court appearance.
On the morning of Feb. 1, Punnichy RCMP received a report of a fire at a home on the reserve.
Later that day, Mounties received calls about a man walking with a firearm on the First Nation, and a suspect was subsequently arrested.
The investigation determined that a man had broken into the residence, stole a firearm and started a fire.
Thirty-six-year-old Myles Anderson of Regina was in Punnichy Provincial Court Feb. 17, where he was remanded in custody to Feb. 19 in Wadena.
