The La Ronge Ice Wolves of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League have announced that Head Coach and General Manager Kevin Kaminski has taken personal leave effective February 20th.
The Churchbridge, Saskatchewan product will step away from his duties for an indefinite period. In a statement released by the organization, the team says it fully supports Kaminski during this time and is respecting his privacy.
Assistant Coach Kyle Graham will assume head coaching and hockey operations responsibilities in the interim and will handle all hockey-related matters.
The Ice Wolves’ Board of Directors says its priority remains the well-being of its players, adding that day-to-day operations will continue as normal.
The organization also expressed appreciation for the continued support of fans, billets, sponsors, and the community.
