It’s hard to believe the regular season is already over and playoffs are here. Honestly, this winter has flown by, and I’m pretty sure the busy hockey schedule had a lot to do with that.
Tonight my son’s team, the U15AA Sask East Oilers, begin their playoff run against the Estevan Bruins. Sask East finished the season in 4th place in the South Division, with Estevan right behind in 5th, so this should be a really exciting series.
If you get the chance, come on out and watch some excellent hockey. Game 1 goes tonight at 7:45 PM at Westland Arena in Yorkton. Game 2 is Saturday at 3:45 PM in Estevan, and if the series needs a third game, it’ll be Sunday at 7:00 PM back at Westland Arena in Yorkton.
There’s nothing quite like playoff hockey — the energy, the intensity, and the great atmosphere in the rink. It should be a fun one!
And as a Calgary Flames fan, this might be one of the only times you’ll hear me say it… Go Oilers Go!
