The Swan Valley Stampeders picked up their first win of the season over the Neepawa Titans on Friday night with a convincing 9–4 victory.
The Stampeders jumped out to a 5–1 lead after the first period and never looked back.
Dylan Ruff and Cade Bolding each scored twice to lead the way, while Zach Hertz added four assists in the win.
Ryder Woods, Noah Stott, Dayson Martin, Trace Lanagan and Crosby Harrison also scored as Swan Valley earned its second straight victory.
Easton Falls made 33 saves between the pipes for the Stampeders.
Talen Wallis scored twice for Neepawa, while Cooper Kasprick and Kyle Weisgarber added singles.
The two teams will meet again Saturday night in Swan River, with puck drop set for 7:00 p.m.
