A woman arrested in connection with a death on the Waywayseecappo First Nation, has appeared in court again.
27-year-old Talisa Brandon of Waywayseecappo was in Brandon Court of King’s Bench yesterday (Mon), charged with manslaughter.
She will return to court for her trial, which starts on March 23.
In July of 2023, Manitoba First Nation Police Service members were called to a home on the reserve, where they found a seriously injured 23-year-old man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
