The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League has announced the finalists for its 2025–26 year-end awards as the regular season heads into its final stretch.
The Yorkton Terriers and Melville Millionaires are well represented among the nominees.
Yorkton forward Gabriel Courchesne is a finalist for both Most Valuable Player and Forward of the Year after recording 77 points in 54 games. Terriers goaltender Callum Creig is up for Goaltender of the Year, while defenceman Thomas Ries is nominated for Defenceman of the Year and forward Cash Lanigan is a Rookie of the Year finalist.
In Melville, captain Boston Harkness is a finalist for both Defenceman of the Year and Saskatchewan Player of the YearJye Zawatsky, along with Terrier forward , while teammate Kale Margolis is up for Most Sportsmanlike Player.
Also among the Defenceman of the Year finalists is Bo Eisner of the Melfort Mustangs, the standout blueliner from Swan River, Manitoba who recorded 44 points this season.
Award winners will be announced March 18th
