SASKATCHEWAN — Co-op deli counters in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, the Northwest Territories, and Saskatchewan are recalling the creamy garlic and spinach pasta salad from deli counters because it may contain cheese that was recalled for Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
Because the salad is sold from the deli, sizes may vary. The UPC begins with 0 284616, with 24.MAR.2026 to 04.APR.2026 as the best before date range. At this time, there have been no reported illnesses associated with the pasta salad.
Food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness.
If you think you have become sick from consuming the salad, contact your healthcare provider. All recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the location where they were purchased. Do not consume, serve, use, sell or distribute any recalled products.
