All’s well that ends well…especially when you finally finish a show as wild as You. The series wrapped up last year, but I just caught the finale and boy, what a ride! I’m not usually into romance-murder thrillers, but this one had me hooked from start to finish. Instead of following the usual victim, we get Joe. A guy who thinks he’s a hopeless romantic, but really, he’s just a dangerously obsessive serial killer. His twisted “love” stories were somehow impossible to look away from, even when you knew things would get messy.
The last seven years watching Joe was a rollercoaster. I kept going, hoping he’d finally face the consequences of his actions, and the final season didn’t disappoint! The show really pulled back the curtain on just how unhinged Joe was, even calling out viewers who found themselves rooting for him. Seeing familiar faces come back and finally get justice was such a satisfying payoff for everyone who’d stuck with the series.
What I loved most was how the show gave us real closure. So many shows these days end on cliffhangers or leave fans feeling let down, but You tied everything up perfectly. The cast and crew clearly put their heart into the finale, making sure the story ended on the right note. After all the twists and turns, it felt great to see a series land the ending and give fans a sendoff they actually deserved!
You can stream You on Netflix.
