YORKTON — There has been a new development in the case of one of three men arrested in connection with a drug trafficking investigation in Yorkton.
Last June, police pulled over a vehicle on Highway 10, just south of Yorkton, and arrested a male driver.
The same day, Mounties executed search warrants at two homes in Yorkton and arrested two more men.
Police say they seized 1,177 grams of cocaine, nearly $76,000 in cash and other drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Dalton Swain, 29, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking in Yorkton Provincial Court on April 13, and he received a conditional sentence of two years less a day.
His co-accused, 21-year-old Risto Zimmer, had his matters adjourned to May 4, while 31-year-old Jude Becker remains the subject of an arrest warrant.
