REGINA — Court appearances have been made by two of four people charged in connection with a quadruple murder on the Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation.
In February of last year, the File Hills First Nations Police Service received a report of sudden deaths at a home on Carry the Kettle.
Police located two men and two women who had been shot to death.
A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named due to his age, was in Regina provincial court April 24, where he was sentenced to two years in custody, followed by one year of supervision.
Meanwhile, a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named due to his age, was also in Regina provincial court April 24, charged with four counts of first-degree murder, where he was remanded in custody to April 29.
