The Ag Transport Coalition reports week 43 saw performance remain unchanged from the prior week with CN and CPKC Rail combined, supplying 95% of shipper orders for a second straight week.
CN saw a very modest decline in performance, whereas CPKC matched their near perfect performance from the prior week.
System performance remains above the 90% threshold for a fourth consecutive week.
In supplying 89% of cars ordered by shippers in week 43, CN saw performance decline slightly from the 91% order fulfillment performance seen in week 42.
CN performance falls below the 90% threshold after having achieved that benchmark in week 42 for the first time in eight weeks.
Meanwhile, in supplying 99% of shipper orders, CPKC matched the performance seen in week 42.
CPKC performance has now been at 90% or better for four consecutive weeks.
