KEESEEKOOSE FIRST NATION / PELICAN LAKE FIRST NATION — RCMP in Saskatchewan are investigating two fatal rollovers Sunday that have resulted in the death of three people.
On July 12 at approximately 12:20 p.m., Kamsack RCMP received a report of a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 8, on the Keeseekoose First Nation.
Officers responded along with local fire and EMS. The sole occupant of the vehicle was declared dead by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as a 50-year-old man from Norquay. His family has been notified.
Kamsack RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
Earlier that day, at approximately 10:55 a.m., Spiritwood RCMP received a report of a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 24 near Pelican Lake First Nation.
Officers responded along with local fire and EMS. Two of the occupants of the vehicle were declared deceased by EMS at the scene. They have been identified as a 31-year-old male and a 39-year-old female, both from Pelican Lake First Nation. Their families have been notified.
A third passenger was transported to hospital by EMS with injuries described as serious in nature.
