PREECEVILLE — The Etoimamie Valley Riding Club honoured founding member Marge Reynolds and its dedicated volunteers on July 12 during the Preeceville Western Weekend.
Heather Gawrelitza donated a hat in Memory of Marge Reynolds to the Etoimamie Valley Riding Club. “Marge passed away in February at 96 years of age and you can bet she is still cheering all you riders on from up above,” stated a release from the club.
The hat was in honour of Marge's lifelong dedication to volunteering in our local community and for being a founding member of the Etoimamie Valley Riding Club.
Gawrelitza wanted the club to present it to another dedicated volunteer with the Etoimamie Valley Riding Club. That volunteer is Marlene Palaniuk, who year after year she is always at the ring side and can be counted on when the club needs her.
"The Palaniuk family has seen many generations take part in the Etoimamie Valley Riding Club, and it is great to see this club still going strong in our community,” concluded a representative from the club.
