CANORA – Round one of the Southeast Senior Baseball League playoffs between the Canora Supers and the Saltcoats Lakers has proved to be a real nail biter heading into the third and deciding game
Game 1 loss
Full game statistics were not available at press time, but according to the Canora Supers Facebook Page, the Supers lost game one at home, 16-9 on July 13.
“The Lakers hit three home runs in the game while the Supers countered with one by Kody Rock. Chaz Jaeb and Shae Peterson were on the mound for the Supers.”
Game 2 win
Facing elimination in Saltcoats on July 15, “the Suppers win Game two 11-10 in a back and forth game! At one point the Supers were down 10-5 but fought back to get the victory. Dylan Toffan and Kody Rock split the pitching duties.”
Game 3 was set for Canora on July 20, with the winner advancing to the league final series.
