YORKTON — A Melville man accused of shooting two Mounties has appeared in court again.
Markus Dodge, 55, appeared in Yorkton Provincial Court on Aug. 21, where he was remanded in custody until Oct. 30.
On the evening of June 21, two RCMP members received a report of an assault at a home in Melville.
When they arrived, a firearm was discharged, striking and seriously injuring both officers.
The suspect surrendered to police a few hours later.
