YORKTON, Sask. — A new sentencing date has been set for a Calder man convicted of manslaughter.
In June 2023, Mounties were called to a home in the Calder district to conduct a wellness check on 61-year-old Bentley Baumung, who was found dead at the scene.
The next day, 51-year-old Curtis Sokoloski was arrested in Russell.
In Yorkton Court of King's Bench on Sept. 4, Sokoloski had his sentencing adjourned to Oct. 6.
