CANORA, SASK. – The Canora Ukrainian Heritage Museum invited the community to join them on Aug. 28 for a “dogs & treats” lunch with hot dogs and the optional topping of sauerkraut along with Ukrainian cuisine treats, including beetniks and poppy seed along with cottage cheese nalysnyky.
Judging from the steady traffic, many community residents took advantage of the opportunity.
The last day of regular summer hours at the museum was Sept. 3, but visiting the museum in the fall and winter months is still possible by appointment. Anyone interested in touring the museum is encouraged to phone 306-563-5211.
