It appears Saskatchewan Roughriders fans have seen enough of Alex Hale.
Hale was booed loudly after missing a 47-yard field goal in the third quarter of Sunday's Labour Day Classic in Regina. The Riders earned a single point on the play because the kick went off a Winnipeg Blue Bomber before going through the end zone. That tied the game 13-13.
The miss was Hale's second of the game. His 46-yard attempt on the last play before halftime also went wide. A successful try there would have have given the Riders the lead heading into the break.
Hale, a CFL rookie from Australia, has made good on just 50 percent of his kicks from 40 yards or more. He's now 6-for-12 after the two unsuccessful attempts from that range on Sunday.
