STURGIS, Sask. — Staff at Sturgis Composite School welcomed students back for another school year on Sept. 2.
“Students will see a new sidewalk installed over the summer at the elementary side and will welcome Mikayla Geistlinger to the staff at the school,” said Kipp Bayer, principal.
“We are excited to welcome students back to school and hope everyone had a great summer. The volleyball season kicks off with practices on the first day back to class. Other sports will be cross-country and golf,” said Bayer. “It is a quiet year with no big changes expected. It's important that students and staff are reminded to take care of themselves, keep everything in perspective and reach out if you need any help with your mental and physical well-being,” he said.
