MOOSOMIN, Sask. — A man charged in connection with a cattle fraud case in the Moosomin area has appeared in court again.
Kelly Stephen, 52, was in Moosomin Provincial Court Sept. 15, where he had his matters adjourned to Oct. 20.
On July 6, Livestock Services of Saskatchewan received a report of altered cattle brands at a farm located in the RM of Martin.
The investigation determined that 99 head of cattle carried an altered brand applied over top of the original brand.
Another 98 cattle were branded fraudulently with a new brand.
