YORKTON – Another court appearance has been made by a man arrested after a fatal two-vehicle collision near Foam Lake.
On the afternoon of Oct. 2, Wadena-Foam Lake RCMP were called to a crash on a grid road, about nine kilometres west of Foam Lake.
Their investigation determined that a pickup truck tried to pass a semi-unit, when it collided with an SUV.
A woman and her two daughters were killed, while three other people were injured.
Kelly Knopf, 40, of Sumter, South Carolina, was in Yorkton Provincial Court, on three counts of dangerous driving causing death, and three counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
His bail hearing that was scheduled for Oct. 6, was adjourned to Oct. 7,
