YORKTON, Sask. — A man arrested following a fatal two-vehicle collision near Foam Lake has appeared in court again.
Kelly Knopf, 40, of Sumter, S.C., was in Yorkton Provincial Court on three counts of dangerous driving causing death and three counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
The bail hearing that was scheduled for Oct. 7 did not go ahead, but Knopf will return to court Oct. 8.
On the afternoon of Oct. 2, Wadena/Foam Lake RCMP were called to a crash on a grid road about nine kilometres west of Foam Lake.
Their investigation determined that a pickup truck tried to pass a semi-unit when it collided with an SUV.
Three females, including two children, were killed, while three other people were injured.
