REGINA, Sask. — Michael McCain, executive chair of Maple Leaf Foods, is not only one of the most recognized faces in Canada’s commercial world, he’s also one of its most thoughtful. His willingness to challenge conventional wisdom on the role of business in society makes him someone who is particularly intriguing to interview.
He joined Harvard Media’s business commentator Paul Martin for a wide-ranging discussion on everything but financial statements while in the province to receive an award from the Paul J. Hill School of Business at the University of Regina.
