Newly-returned Riders kicker Brett Lauther says he was "pretty shocked" by the recent trade that brought him back to Saskatchewan. Especially since he says there was "back and forth" with the Ottawa Redblacks about a contract extension.
After talks stalled, he says was looking forward to a couple of upcoming family getaways.
Instead, he ended up on a different trip last week, an airplane ride to Riderville.
