CANORA, SASK.- On a somewhat chilly Oct. 10 morning, Canora and area residents took advantage of the opportunity to enjoy the Canora Firefighters Pancake Breakfast as part of Fire Prevention Week, Oct. 4-10.
The theme this year was “Charge into fire safety – Safe Charging is a SUPERPOWER.”
The focus was on lithium-ion batteries used in many everyday items such as cell phones, tools and laptops, and the importance of charging them safely.
