The Yorkton Terriers got back in the win column Wednesday night, holding off a late push from the Weyburn Red Wings for a 6-5 victory at the Whitecap Resources Centre.
The win snapped Yorkton’s three-game losing streak and brought the Terriers back to the .500 mark.

The Red Wings continued to push in the final frame. Teigan Semchyshen scored on the power play with seven minutes remaining to make it 6-4, before Jaxson Doyle pulled Weyburn within one. However, the Terriers held on to end the Red Wings’ six-game winning streak.
