The Dauphin Kings are making a change behind the bench.
The MJHL club’s Board of Directors announced Wednesday that Head Coach and General Manager Doug Hedley and the organization have mutually agreed to part ways.
Hedley was in his third stint as head coach of the Kings, spending a total of 15 seasons with the organization and playing a key role in one of the franchise’s recent highlights—helping guide Dauphin to the 2022 Turnbull Cup championship.
In a statement, the team thanked Hedley for his dedication and commitment, noting his lasting impact on both players and the organization.
The Kings say the search for a new head coach and general manager will begin immediately.
