SASKATCHEWAN — Highway conditions in Saskatchewan are improving April 17, the day after a snowstorm swept through the province, but many routes are still listed as covered.
The bulk of the covered highways are now in the east-central areas. Travel is still not recommended on a couple of routes in west-central Saskatchewan.
Highways in the Regina area covered or partially covered, while those in the Saskatoon area are mostly listed as bare.
For updates, check the Highway Hotline.
The snowfall warning that was in effect for Regina, Moose Jaw and communities in 129 RMs has been lifted, as has a freezing rain warning in the southeast has been lifted.
SaskToday will have updates as they become available.
