The 2025 edition of Canadian Western Agribition (CWA) increased the province's economy by $151.3 million, an increase of 30 per cent from 2023, according to event organizers in a news release.
CWA brought in Praxis Consulting Inc. to conduct an economic impact study, the same firm that conducted the last study on the 2023 edition of the week-long livestock event.
Praxis Consulting also found Agribition brought in $92.7 million to the provincial GDP – a 33.2 per cent increase from 2023 – creating 1,222 jobs in the province, and a total of $5.9 million in livestock sales, trade show booth, and vendor sales.
The numbers for sales and jobs created in the province during the event in 2025 are up from 2023.
Agribition also saw another record for attendance set at 151,037 during the show from November 24-29, 2025. CWA said the attendance "increased tourist spending to $109.7 million, a 32% increase from 2023."
Full financial details, along with CWA's 2025 annual report, will be presented at its annual general meeting on June 17.
The 2026 edition of Agribition is set for November 23-28.
