My birthday was a few weeks ago, but the snowy “spring” weather kept me from heading home until just this week, which meant some delayed present-opening. The wait was totally worth it, though, because my aunt gave me the ultimate gift…socks! But not just any socks. We’re talking Clueless, Powerpuff Girls, Aristocats, and a whole bunch of other fun themes. I think there were close to 15 or 20 pairs!
This isn’t just a one-time thing, either. My aunt has been keeping me in socks for years, every birthday and Christmas. I haven’t had to buy socks in ages, and honestly, I love it! Some people might not get excited about practical presents, but when it’s something you use every day, and it’s this fun, it feels extra special. A simple, thoughtful gift like this always brightens my day and my sock drawer!
