Another court appearance has been made for a former employee of the Municipality of Gilbert Plains, charged with theft over five thousand dollars.
41-year-old Amber Fisher had her matter heard in Dauphin Provincial Court Monday, where it was adjourned to May 26.
Fisher, who was the former Chief Administrative Officer of the Municipality, had been under investigation since 2022, after a compliant was made to the Manitoba Cyber and Financial Crime Unit.
The complaint alleged that Fisher had stolen upwards of 500-thousand dollars, while employed with the municipality.
