A new development in the case of a Dauphin man, arrested in connection with a series of break and enters.
19-year-old Jayson Dumas pleaded guilty in Dauphin Provincial Court yesterday (Thu), and he was sentenced to two years in prison.
In February of last year, Dauphin RCMP responded to a home on 3rd Avenue Southwest for a report of a break-in, that resulted in the theft of some cash, and a male suspect was later arrested.
Through their investigation, police believed the same suspect was responsible for at least five break and enters in the south end of Dauphin.
