MELVILLE — The Saskatchewan RCMP says several people have been taken into custody in Melville as part of an ongoing investigation.
According to an email sent in the evening of May 22, there was an increased police presence in the 300-block of Second Avenue East in the city.
In a follow-up e-mail in the morning of May 23, the RCMP said there is no longer an increased police presence in the community. Several individuals have been taken into custody, and the RCMP said there is no known risk to public safety.
