Today marks the end of an era for me. My faithful headphones, which have been by my side for 4 years, 1 month, 13 days, 2 hours, and 6 minutes, finally reached their breaking point. I still remember receiving them when I first started here, a small but meaningful welcome to the team. Their journey ended in dramatic fashion when the right side completely detached, leaving them not just unusable, but seemingly beyond repair. It’s strange how something so simple could become so integral to my daily routine, yet here I am mourning the loss more than I expected.
Now, every time it’s time for a break, my hand automatically reaches for them, only to be met with the realization that they’re no longer there. It’s a small but persistent reminder of their absence that stings a little each time. I’m hoping there’s a chance for a replacement, but I’m not sure if we have any spares tucked away. For now, I’ll just have to enjoy the sounds of the office and maybe make some new memories with a fresh set soon.
@gx94radio This has literally never happened to me before! 😭 RIP my headphones. -Olivia . . . #brokenheadphones #maonoheadphone #radioproblems #uhoh #yikes
