BROADVIEW — Guilty pleas have been entered by a Grenfell man arrested in connection with a police chase that went from Grenfell to Fort Qu'Appelle.
James Delorme, 44, was in Broadview Provincial Court June 17, where he admitted to four charges, including flight from police and driving while prohibited.
He was sentenced to 334 days in jail, to be followed by a two-year driving prohibition.
On April 22, Mounties received a report of a person possibly being forcibly confined in an SUV that had left a business in the Grenfell area.
Police say the vehicle was spotted speeding through the Indian Head and Fort Qu'Appelle areas before it was finally stopped north of Fort Qu'Appelle.
