The Regina Pats have added a pair of familiar prairie hockey names to Head Coach Dave Bell’s staff.
Whitewood product Taras McEwen has been named an assistant coach after spending last season with Prairie Hockey Academy.
The 35-year-old previously coached the Swift Current Broncos, leading the club to a Central Division title in 2024, and also spent time behind the bench with the Winnipeg ICE.
Joining him is veteran coach Del Pedrick, a former head coach with the Swan Valley Stampeders and Waywayseecappo Wolverines of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
Most recently, Pedrick spent four seasons as an assistant coach with the Brandon Wheat Kings after 16 years developing players at Notre Dame.
