A Kelliher man arrested after a kidnapping with a firearm incident in the town, has appeared in court again.
31-year-old Adrian Frank was in Punnichy Provincial Court July 7, where he was remanded in custody to July 14.
Punnichy RCMP say on March 19, the suspect pointed a firearm at a man, who was sitting in a parked vehicle outside of a Kelliher business.
The suspect ordered the victim to drive him to the George Gordon First Nation.
When two people there tried to assist the victim, the suspect allegedly broke a vehicle window, and deployed bear spray at them.
A search of the suspect and the vehicle turned up a sawed-off firearm, ammunition, two cans of bear spray, a machete, a baton, about 36 grams of crystal meth, 24 grams of fentanyl, and 6 grams of magic mushrooms.
